Step1 - Migrate

Deploy Exchange 2007 to your environment instantly enabling your users for improved search, reliability, and performance. Exchange 2007's 64 bit architecture allows for larger mailboxes per user, and sophisticated compliance and management features.

Step 2  - Secure Messaging

Exchange 2007 has a full compliment of security features, many of which are included within the Exchange client and server licensing:

  • Exchange Hosted Services provides cloud based Anti-Virus and Anti Spam meaning only legitmate mail is delivered virus free to your servers.
  • Exchange Edge services provide messaging hygiene at the perimeter before mail is delivered to your mailbox servers providing decryption, compliance, journaling, signatures and Anti Virus / Anti Spam features.
  • Forefront for Exchange enables on server Anti Virus for all mailbox server in your environment ensuring mail deliverd internally or submitted for external delivery is filtered in transit.

Step 3 - Mobile Enable

Exchange 2007 mobile enables your workforce:

  • Outlook Web Access (OWA) browser based email, including document access for internal file servers and Windows Sharepoint Services servers
  • Activesync push email for Windows Mobile devices
  • Outlook Anywhere for Outlook 2003 / 2007 for remote access without VPN provides flexibility and simple access regardless of Internet connection.

Step 4 - Increase service availability

Exchange 2007's new roles based architecture and clustering options allow for greater availability including multi site clustering and databse replication to be included in the design or added to the messgaing environment.

The Unified Messaging role within Exchange 2007 can integrate with your existing telephony solution whether it be traditional PBX or VoIP. This is realised via Outlook Web Access (OWA) allowing users to access voicemail via their inbox or their email via telephone remotely using Outlook Voice Access (OVA).
